Stemtree’s Mathematics Program offers a customized, grade-specific curriculum that incorporates engaging exercises and physical manipulatives to make math more enjoyable.
At the start of camp, each student will take a grade-specific pre-assessment to gauge their knowledge of the material they should have already mastered. Based on the outcome of the pre-assessment, students will either be given lessons to review topics they might not have understood, or they will be given an assessment to check their knowledge of the topics they will learn in the upcoming school year. Students who have already mastered grade appropriate content will be introduced to new material as appropriate.
Camp includes 30-minute fun games to make the experience fun and engaging.
